Beacon Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which SIONYX, LLC (“SIONYX”, “Our”, “We”) collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User"; “You”, “Your”) of the Beacon mobile application (“Beacon”).

PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION
SIONYX may collect personal identification information from Users of Beacon, including personal identification information and conversation history that Users affirmatively authorize SIONYX to access or store. Users may refuse to provide such authorization, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Beacon-related activities.

NON-PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION
SIONYX may collect non-personally identifiable information from Users of Beacon, including information about the User’s mobile device, operating system, app usage, network connection, and other similar technical information.

HOW SIONYX USES COLLECTED INFORMATION
SIONYX may collect and use personal information of Users for the following purposes:

(i) To operate and maintain Beacon. SIONYX may use User’s information to aid operation of Beacon and provide its features and functionality;

(ii) To improve customer service. Information provided by Users helps SIONYX respond to customer service requests and support needs more efficiently;

(iii) To personalize the User experience. SIONYX may use information in the aggregate to understand how Users, as a group, use Beacon and its features and resources;

(iv) To improve Beacon. SIONYX may use feedback and other information provided by Users to improve Beacon, its features, and related services. 

 

HOW SIONYX PROTECTS YOUR INFORMATION

SIONYX adopts appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your stored personal information, username, password, transaction information and data.

 

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
SIONYX does not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. SIONYX may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding Users with our business partners, trusted affiliates, and advertisers for the purposes outlined above. 

 

COMPLIANCE WITH CHILDREN'S ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT
Beacon is not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information to Beacon. SIONYX does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information to Beacon. If SIONYX learns that it has collected or received personal information from a child under 13, SIONYX will promptly delete such information. If you believe SIONYX might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact SIONYX at support@sionyx.com.  

 

YOUR STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on your state of residence, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information; obtain a copy of your personal information; and opt out of certain processing, including the sale of personal information, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. You may also have the right to appeal our decision regarding a privacy request and to receive equal treatment for exercising your privacy rights. The availability and scope of these rights vary by state and may be subject to certain exceptions and limitations under applicable law. If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (“CCPA”), including the right to know about the personal information we collect, use, or disclose; the right to delete or correct your personal information; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information; and the right to limit certain uses and disclosures of sensitive personal information. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
SIONYX may update this Privacy Policy at its own sole discretion. SIONYX encourages Users to periodically review this Privacy Police for any changes. Your continued use Beacon following the posting of any changes to this Privacy Policy shall be deemed as your acceptance of those changes.

By using Beacon, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not use Beacon.
