Job Summary:

The Software Engineer plays a crucial role assisting with designing, developing and implementing software applications. Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

·        Learn and improve existing codebase.

·        Write and maintain code written in C/C++.

·        Responds to requests from the development team.

·        Conduct validation and verification tests.

·        Design and develop applications.

·        Documentation.

·        Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

·        Good knowledge of languages including C/C++, Python, HTML5, and JavaScript.

·        Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.

·        Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.

·        Experience with Linux and Windows.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·        Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

·        US Citizen or green card holder required.

Education and Experience:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

·        At least 1 year of related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

·        Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

·        Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $88,000

Discretionary Bonus: 5%
